Peace In Pieces - Anxiety Issues

We live in a world full of anxiety. While I certainly do not claim to be an expert in mental health, I am a pretty good student when it comes to understanding the contours of your life and my life. And I know, because you’ve told me, that things like anxiety, stress, and worry plague your life. And they plague mine. Whether it’s the health of a son, the school of a granddaughter, the project at work, the idea of the future...I could go on, but you get my point. Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30am as we explore what the Bible has to say about anxiety and how we might be able to experience a piece of peace.

Peace In Pieces - The Last Words

This morning we start a new series of sermons. A series on peace. Perhaps more than anything else, peace is what we long for until we can experience heaven. Peace sitting in the oncologist’s office. Peace in times of war and rumors of war. Peace from the internal anxiety and worries that bog us down. And peace in the midst of relationships. We’re calling this series of sermons “Peace in Pieces," and it begins on Sunday morning at 9:30am with the last words for 400 years!

What Happens Next? - Be Blessed

This Sunday is Trinity Sunday. The word "Trinity" is not found in the Holy Scriptures but the doctrine of the Trinity is spread throughout the narrative of the Bible. "Our God is One." This a deep truth, but here is another: we also are "One Body, One Church" that has been blessed by our One God. Join us this Sunday morning at 9:30am as we celebrate Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and as we look to continue to grow in God's grace.

What Happens Next? - Ten Days

What did you last week Thursday? Seriously, take a minute and think. What did you do last week Thursday? I ask that question because ten days after the ascension of Jesus is the day of Pentecost. So, 40 days after the resurrection is the ascension and 50 days after the resurrection is Pentecost. But what about those ten days? Those ten days after the ascension before Pentecost. Those long and hard days of waiting. Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30am as well celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit by taking a closer look at those ten days.

What Happens Next? - R.I.S.E.

Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30am in the sanctuary as we together with the church worldwide to celebrate Ascension of the Lord Sunday. On this Sunday, we will "set our hearts and minds on things above, where Christ is seated" and join with the disciples in awe and wonder as a prelude to Pentecost!
