At First Church one of the best ways we can grow together is through Sunday morning worship. Here, you'll find a warm and welcoming community of people from all different walks of life gathered together in unity to lift high the name of Jesus. We do this in all sorts of different ways. We sing new songs with guitars and old songs with an organ. We pray new prayers from the heart and ancient prayers of the faith. We preach the same Good News of Jesus Christ in new and fresh ways in hopes of intersecting the Word of God with the stories of our lives. Whether you grew up Catholic, married a Baptist, or anything in between, you'll find a home in worship here at First Church.

Ministries That we Provide

Sunday Morning Worship

We gather weekly for worship on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am.  Together, we celebrate the love of God shown to us through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ through song, prayer, and the hearing of the Word.  As we assemble we form the ecclesia--the body of Christ.  Our body is continually growing and we would love to have you join us!

Sunday Morning Educational Hour

We grow deeper in our understanding and practice of God's Holy Word.  Classes are on break through the summer and will resume again in the fall.  Please check back later for an updated schedule.

OASIS (Junior & Senior High Ministries)

Geared towards our junior high and senior high students, OASIS exists to encourage and equip our students to carry Christ with them in their daily lives.  Whether we are playing games, enjoying pizza, talking through a lesson, or praying together, we are continually seeking real-life intersections of the stories of the Bible with the stories of our lives.

Wednesday Night Ministries

As Christians, we're never done growing, and as disciples of Christ we're never done journeying.  Our weekly Wednesday night ministries lead us on that journey from the prophets of old to the Gospels.  Whether through a hymn-sing, a Bible Study, a small group, a fellowship meal, or a time of prayer, we immerse ourselves in the world of God found in the Word of God.

Other Opportunities To Grow

We also offer many other opportunities to grow together in the Grace of Christ. For more information on the Men's Prayer Group, Women's Bible Study, Book Club, or the Knitters & Quilters ministries please call the church office at (708) 333-0622..
