Sunday Service

Water.  We love it, don't we?  It is almost synonymous with summer time.  Slip n Slides.  Running through sprinklers.  Ice-cold classes of water on a long, hot summer day.  Water is a beautiful thing.  And throughout the Bible, water plays a really important role.  Water gives life.  Water is violent and tumultuous.  Water is sacramental.  Water cleanses.  Water is a place of death, too.  Water is obedient to Jesus.  When you stop and think about it, water plays a really important role all throughout the Bible.  And that's just what we're going to look at all summer long: water.  So join us this summer on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am as we look at the Bible's different naratives involving water.

OASIS (Student Ministry)

OASIS (6th-12th graders) meets again on Friday, August 15 for a trip to Deep River Waterpark!  We'll meet at church at 10:00am and return at 5:00pm. This event is another great opportunity for you to bring your friends to OASIS for the first, second, or twentieth time.  For more information please call Anthony in the church office or click here.

Summer Outdoor Services

Our final outdoor service and church picnic is scheduled for Sunday, August 24.  Join us on our beautiful front lawn at 9:30am for worship followed by a delicious meal and fellowship together.  Please RSVP for the picnic by contacting the church office.  As always, this is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to worship with you at First Church!  Chairs will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite folding chair if you would like.
