Sunday Worship

"Comments From The Cross." That's what we're titling this series of sermons. A close read of the Gospels reveals to us that there are several individuals or groups of individuals who engage in a dialoge with Jesus in His most vulnerable of times. With nails driven into His arms and legs, he talks with individuals and individuals talk to Him. While somewhere in the process of asphyxiation, Jesus offers comments from the cross, and individuals make comments to Him. When you stop and think about it, they could, perhaps, be some of the most important fragments of conversation we're given. I mean, this is a man literally dying. Jesus would obviously choose His divine words carefully and those speaking to Him would choose their words carefully. Message from Pastor Matt

We don't have to look too far in the pages of our own lives or in the lives of others to find pain, loneliness and brokenness. The Church is the best way to gather our hearts and lives together in encouragement, support, and grace. So welcome to First Church where you will experience a fresh start, a vision of hope, and glimpse of Christ's infinite grace!
